Awesome Weekend
This weekend was probably the best weekend I’ve had in a long time. Like the past few weekends again I was gone, last weekend I was in San Diego, and got back on Tuesday. Then this weekend was Pullman aka WSU.
We headed out Saturday morning with a couple of friends because they didn’t get into town till late Friday night. My cousin and brother go to school there so it was nice to visit them. My brother was busy doing homework because this week is their dead week, and I believe next week is finals for him. On Friday I could tell that my sinuses were going to act up. On cue they did, full bore for Saturday. My cousin made plans for all of us, and one of her friends to go with us to see a movie. We went to see The Amityville Horror. Let me tell you that was a very scary movie, I even jumped a couple of times! Teresa was in Shawn’s lap for I swear the whole movie. Poor Jessica (Teresa’s friend that I hung out with) was freaked, but I think a couple of times I might have crushed her hang/am too. It’s bad then during the movie the guys are scared. After that we all decided that we needed to watch something funny and relaxing. We resorted to a great movie, The Replacements, nothing like a football comedy movie. Shawn and Teresa left I think halfway through, and Jessica and I stayed for the rest of the movie, but honestly I’m not sure how I stayed awake that long. Then I walked back to my brother’s dorm and she crashed. At one in the morning or whatever time it was on a Saturday night there is some interesting stuff out on the WSU campus.
The drive on the way over and back was great. Except that the breaks on my truck were trashed so slowing down and eventually stopping. Who needs breaks though, I just like to go fast and then slow down easily or at least that’s the overall goal.
My sinus infection is getting better, my throat is much better today, but I still can’t breathe very well, but I guess that’s life. I just hope that I’m better by the weekend.
Needless to say that was a long and purely random post, but all in all this weekend rocked!
