This weekend was one of the busiest weekends for me in a very long time. For me there are really two different kinds of busy, one that is just stressful, and the other that is a busy but it’s a good busy because it involves tons of fun. This weekend was exactly that, tons of fun. Friday night I went over to a friend’s house and we stayed up most of the night playing games and shooting the shit.
Saturday night involved going to show in Olympia for a couple of local bands. Again this time I was security. it can be kind of boring because we all just hang out while other bands play, so we tend to wonder around and see what’s going on. I was on a mission for food when I spotted a pizza place so i wondered in and ordered a slice, to go. they called my name and I went over to grab it, it was like any other place a slice of pizza on a paper place, but because it was to go they put it in a freaking paper bag. Seriously what kind of place puts a slice of pizza in a paper sack to go? It was just one of those funny amazing things that my life runs into from time to time. We wondered back to where the show was. When the show was over we ripped everything that we setup down and headed back. When we got back to my truck because I bummed a ride up there, I didn’t feel like going to the after show party or go home, so I resorted to random driving around. A friend called me to see what was going on and I ended up hanging out at his house for a few hours. I think I finally came home around two, but in all honestly I really don’t remember.
Later on this morning somewhere around nine my dad decided to get my up, so basically I got no sleep, not enough anyway to give me any energy today. The problem is that once I’m up its impossible for me to go back to sleep.
