Now I’m irritated…disabling the old LJ sync plug-in totally hosed all my old moods from the posts as well as current song I was playing. Not that I totally really cared it just bugs me that’s all.

As many of you know I’ve been syncing this blog with LiveJournal for quite a few months. This last quarter school and work killed me, quite literally too. I was thinking about killing the sync between LJ and this blog, but upon searching I found a newer, better LJ sync plug-in for Wordpress. So basically what I’m saying is after this post I am deactivating the old LJ sync plug-in. Installing the new one and hoping it works, because if it doesn’t I probably won’t go back to the old plug-in. So if you like reading this on LiveJournal, I guess pray, comment, or whatever you wish to do. If not then, never mind.

I’m back from the dead. School is over, but work is not. This life, and it goes on…but I finally have time to update the blog and the site. I am bringing it back. I have redesigned the site and added many new items. Over the next few days or weeks there will be many more changes to come. Enjoy.

Ok…

This last week at work sucked. No other way to put it, don’t get me wrong it was a good week but it was just freaking LONG.

I have uploaded LOTS of pictures to the gallery, but I need to do some serious organizing and other stuff to both the blog and gallery. I am hoping to get most of that stufff wrapped up this week. Once I get most of the pressing stuff done I will be posting some very cool stuff!

My life today as it sits is becoming more and more busy. I have many different projects and ideas that I have been brewing up. You might start to notice the Google Ads showing up on the site. This is to prove something to myself for another project, if you feel the need click them. Thanks!

This life is all about changes and so therefore this blog is going to fallow those. I realize have many promises that I have made in the past few months but with work and other things going on in my life I haven’t been able to hold up to those. For those of you depending on those I am sorry that I haven’t been able to stay on top of things. In the fallowing weeks I am going to be making some major changes to the blog and to this site in general. I am going to add my website design portfolio, upgrade to Gallery2, and finally update the blog. Updates to the blog will most likely go unnoticed to most people except for the theme that I am currently designing.

For everyone wondering what I have been doing with my life, it has been full of work and very little play.

This afternoon/evening I was able to get quite a few things accomplished. First I updated Gallery to version 1.5, therefore granting many improvements both front-end and backend. This evening I got the pictures off the other memory card that was from the race uploaded. In the next few days I am going to be reorganizing the gallery to accommodate a few improvements and a couple hundred more pictures that I have been meaning to upload. I am heading home tomorrow and probably on the plane and in the airport I will try to write a nice entry about the airplane trip out, the race, and everything else that I did while I was out here.

I have been really working on the gallery. I am going to be updating it to the latest version of gallery, 1.5, from 1.44 in the coming days. If something is broke on the gallery please let me know and stay tuned for lots of changes.

I’ve made a few minor changes to the blog template, but I still have lots of work ahead of me. Still todo includes, fixing old posts where pictures aren’t working, fix links, add links to nav bar, and tweaking template to be my own.

Ok, everything is functioning as far as I know. I am syncing to my lj too, and that is pretty sweet if you ask me. Not that I like or want to use lj, but it’s for friends that have it so they can read this with ease. Anyway known issues on the site consist of; comments are in odd places, categories are totally messed, links don’t work, and finally images don’t work. Fixing this is going to be such a nice relaxing process.

Honestly though I am beginning to really like WP.
